Twisty Til Paratha

These Twisty Til Parathas are made with whole wheat flour and Twisty Til podi, creating a savory and nutritious flatbread. After kneading the dough, it’s rolled, sprinkled with podi, and roasted with ghee until golden brown. Serve with pickle or curd for a tasty, wholesome meal!

Ingredients

For Twisty Til Paratha:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp melted ghee
  • 3-4 tbsp Twisty Til Podi
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup water
  • Ghee or oil for roasting

Preparation

Twisty Til Paratha

  • Knead a semi-soft dough using water as required, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into equal parts and roll each part into a round shape. Add the Twisty Til Podi, fold the dough, and roll it into a large paratha.
  • Heat an iron pan and place the paratha on it. Apply ghee or oil on the top of the paratha. When it starts puffing up, flip and roast the other side with a little ghee. Roast until the paratha turns golden brown.
  • Delicious and healthy parathas are ready! Serve with pickle or curd.
