Til Podi Pasta

Ingredients

  • 200 grams pasta (any variety)
  • 2 tbsp til podi (sesame seed powder)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander or basil for garnish (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions


    Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • Prepare the Sauce:

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • If using, add red chili flakes and sauté for a few seconds.

  • Combine Pasta and Til Podi:

  • Add the cooked pasta to the pan. Stir well to coat the pasta with the garlic and oil.
  • Sprinkle the til podi over the pasta and toss to combine evenly.

  • Season and Garnish :

  • Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  • If desired, stir in grated Parmesan cheese and let it melt slightly..

  • Serve

  • Garnish with chopped fresh coriander or basil if desired.
