Pasta with a twist

There are many types of pasta recipes using different types of pasta. This recipe of making past in a cooker is unique and most efficient ways of preparing it. Given the busy schedules yet wanting something different to eat for self or for kids, I would vouch for this recipe, as it only takes 10 mins to prepare. 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp – Magic Masala Podi
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cup macaroni pasta or Penne Pasta

Preparation

  • In a cooker add and heat 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter, add chopped garlic, onion and sauté until the onion turns golden colour.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes, ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tbsp MM podi, all the chopped vegetables and salt, stir fry for 1 minute so all the veggies get mixed, to this add 2 cup macaroni or penne pasta and 1½ cup water.
  • Mix well and pressure cook for 1 whistle on medium flame.
  • Once the after the pressure is released, add 2 slice of cheese, and ½ tsp chilli flakes.
  • Cover and let it rest for few mins, mix gently to make sure everything is well combined. Cooker Pasta is ready to be served, with a garlic bread

Veggies

  1. 1 carrot, chopped.
  2. 1 red capsicum, chopped.
  3. 1 green capsicum, chopped.
  4. 1½ cup water

Seasoning

  • 2 slice cheese
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
