Curry Carnival Paratha

These Curry Carnival Parathas are made with whole wheat flour, curry leaves, and Curry Carnival podi, creating a flavorful and aromatic flatbread. After rolling the dough and sprinkling more podi, the parathas are roasted in ghee until golden brown, offering a delicious and healthy dish. Serve with pickle or curd for an extra burst of flavor!

Ingredients

For Curry Carnival Paratha:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp melted ghee
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped curry leaves
  • 3-4 tbsp Curry Carnival Podi
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup water
  • Ghee or oil for roasting

Preparation

Curry Carnival Paratha

  • In a mixing bowl, add whole wheat flour, finely chopped curry leaves, Curry Carnival Podi, melted ghee, and salt. Mix thoroughly to form a soft dough, then let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • Make medium-sized balls from the dough. Dust each ball with a little wheat flour and roll it out into a large paratha. Sprinkle 3/4 tsp of Curry Carnival Podi evenly over the paratha.
  • Heat an iron pan and place the paratha on it. Apply ghee or oil on the top of the paratha. When it starts puffing up, flip and roast the other side with a little ghee. Roast until the paratha turns golden brown.
  • Your tasty and healthy parathas are ready! Serve with pickle or curd. For extra flavor, sprinkle a bit more Curry Carnival Podi on top before serving.
